Biden, Europe and Us: New Policy or Just New Rhetoric?

Tomas Pojar moderated a closed discussion of foreign policy and defence experts and diplomats about the Biden Administration’s foreign policy towards Europe. Veronika Kuchyňová Šmigolová, Assistant Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Non-European Countries and Zdeněk Beránek, DCM, The Czech Embassy in Washington, D.C. presented their opening remarks. They offered a preview of the actual state of the Czech – U.S. bilateral relations based on three main pillars: cooperation in security and defence, economic cooperation, and shared values. The real existence of actual content of Czech – American relations, the central topics and possible subjects that can broaden the collaboration of the Czech Republic and the U.S. were the main focus.
