Securing Resources for the Defense Industry: Implications for Foreign and Industrial Policy

On March 22, a closed expert discussion organized by the Center for Transatlantic Relations took place under the title “Securing Resources for the Defense Industry: Implications for Foreign and Industrial Policy.”

The debate focused on foreign security and industrial policy, including the content of strategic documents in the Czech Republic, which are currently being updated.

The discussion was initiated by Pavel Švagr, Chairman of SSHR; Pavel Kavina, Director of the Raw Materials Policy Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade; Martin Povejšil, Director-General of the Security and Multilateral Section at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Radek Musil, CEO of Sellier and Bellot.

The discussion was moderated by Daniel Koštoval, Senior Fellow at PCTR.
