The Honorable Jane Harman is a member of Board of Freedom House. She is a former nine-term congresswoman from California and former ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee (2002 – 2006) and the chair of the Homeland Security Committee’s Intelligence Subcommittee (2007–2011). Between 2011 and 2021 she was the CEO of Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
The Honorable Jamie Fly is a CEO of Freedom House since February 2026. He has a wide experience from the government and politics, where he served at the Secretary of Defense Office, the National Security Council and as the counselor for foreign and national security affairs to Senator Marco Rubio. He was also a CEO of Radio Free Europe, worked at the German Marshall Fund and The Foreign Policy Initative. From 2023 to 2025 he worked with Palantir Technologies, where he supported efforts to defend Ukraine from Moscow’s military invasion.
